Supporting you through the COVID-19 outbreak

We are ready to help with your electrical work

At our current Alert Level, electricians are allowed to do all forms of work (not just essential services work) provided they can do so in a safe manner.

While we can help with all of your electrical needs, we will be operating in a very different manner to protect the health and wellbeing of our staff, our customers and the wider community.

To book in new electrical work or in case of emergency, please contact 068777996 or [email protected].

We may take extra time on the phone to gather as many details as possible about your job to minimise contact time at your property.

Working together to keep everyone safe on your property

We need your help to make sure that our team and your family are safe when we visit your property.

If you or anyone in your family is sick or in quarantine, it is essential that you notify us before we arrive.

Please can we ask that you follow these steps to keep everyone safe.

  • Please keep your children and pets clear from all areas that our team need to access. We recommend you keep them clear before we are due to arrive and ask that they are kept clear until after we leave. This includes driveways and access areas.
  • Please make sure all doors are kept open in the areas of work and to/from the areas of work so our team do not need to use door handles or gates to gain access.
  • We ask that you stay a minimum of 2 metres from our team at all times. If you need to provide any further information you can talk us through the work you need to have done, then please move to another room so that our team can work in isolation.

If you become ill after we have visited your property

If you have been exposed to COVID-19, or have been in contact with someone who is in isolation due to exposure or because they are awaiting test results, please notify us at the time you book in your job or before we arrive at your property.

If you or another member of your household becomes ill after we have visited your property, please let us know immediately on 068777996. Our guidelines for operating require that we manage contact tracing for each of our team. Letting us know as soon as you become sick – even if you’re not sure if it’s COVID-19 – will help us to protect our community.

What our clients say

We operate a thriving building business here in Havelock North and will only use Mill Electrical on our jobs, whether this be a full wire up of a house or a small renovation. They run a tight ship of well-trained experts in the field. Always honest, reliable, professional and extremely knowledgeable. We trust Nic, Lorraine and their team to always a complete a job to a high standard. Our clients are always impressed with their work, as are we. On a personal level we have just completed the build of our own family home and commissioned Mill Electrical for the job as we wanted the best. Nic had fantastic ideas for lighting, technology and the overall wiring of our home, which we simply wouldn’t have thought of ourselves.

Richard Cole Builders

We dealt with Mill Electrical throughout our extensive home alteration and renovation. We found them very efficient and skilled workmen who completed the job on time and to a very satisfactory standard. We also greatly appreciated their advice on products available that best suited our situation. We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future.

Julie Raikes

Nic and his team have been out to our home and commercial buildings on many occasions over the last few years. From new installs to fixing the small things there prompt service and friendly team make it a pleasure to work with them. and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional electrician!
